Why chinese look down upon Korean

I remembered the war films I watched in childhood, there would always have the scenes of a Chinese warrior fighting with a Japanese soldier with sword, Japanese were humorlessly only using sword all the time, while Chinese would take out their guns at the key moment, for that we often laughed Japanese were stupid. Anyway, in the time of suffering war invade, what kind of way to kill enemy is not over, however, we should get rid of the speculative psychology after the arrival of peaceful age. The phenomenon of so many Chinese look down upon Korean can reflect several unhealthy concepts in china.

First, China is still regard herself as a great powerful country and look down upon some little countries. This is actually a poison which is left from the past history, we accept the education of great china concept from childhood, which makes us believe that china is surely a big country and have a sense of superiority naturally. What is the standard to distinguish big and small? Does big mean good, superior? Samll is the mean of bad, inferior? In fact, there is no actual value of comparing, besides, do we really big enough? Just think about it, except the big population, there still some other per capita index we can reach the rank of top. Let alone, in the times of information, small takes more advantage than big, we can build up Three Gorges Dam, skyscraper, can we create computer CMOS chip?

Secondly, the atittude of being afraid of unequal but not few. We are happy to see the scene of being rich when others are poor, while if others become rich, we will feel upset, however, if we are poor while others are rich, we will can not help thinking out a plan to make them become poor in one night. This is the atittude of a lot of chinese people. We are always blaming the theory of “China threat”, do we look just like the American? When they yell out the “china threat”, we are uniting together to accuse of the American looking down upon china, discriminate china. Provided that a country like Afghanistan said in public that I look down on china, how it will be? Ridiculous! Why our chinese will make you to discriminate? This is also a psychology of homuncule in world communication. We are shouting the slogan of against Japanese on one side, while on the other side, there are many of us purchasing the Japanese products crazily.

In fact, the real chinese knight-errant would not hit a man when he is down, but throw him a sword when his hand is empty, let him accept treat when he is hurted, then start a fair contest. Now the problem is we still haven’t been a knight-errant, we are hit by robber in the past and wound seriously, therefore, what we should do right now is to struggle hard but complain blindly.
